E.M.C Community, founded by Joyea Marshall-Crowley in 2023, is a vision born from the heart of a mother of three, inspired by God after the birth of her last son in 2022. With a deep empathy for our youth and concern for future generations, Joyea felt compelled to address the growing issues of selfishness, lack of motivation, and disregard for self and others that she has observed in society. The acronym E.M.C stands for "Every Moment Counts," a powerful reminder of the importance of each moment we have, and it also represents the initials of her three children, symbolizing the love and legacy she wishes to impart.

At E.M.C Community, we believe that every child is special and has a divine purpose. Our mission is to break the generational cycle of neglect and apathy by encouraging our youth to recognize their inherent worth. Through our Benevo Youth & Benevo Bonds programs, we aim to nurture and develop the skills, gifts, and talents that God has bestowed upon them. By fostering self-love and a commitment to helping others, we empower children and young parents to pour back into their communities and create a brighter future.
